5 keys to Fat Loss- Fayetteville Arkansas Personal Trainer

These are the 5 Keys to Fat Loss that you can begin to focus on if you are starting a new lifestyle and your goals involve burning excess fat:

1. Nutrition

This is a no brainer- Most people cannot simply eat whatever they want and reach the body of their dreams. We have to focus on getting back to real food nutrition and cooking and preparing meals at home in our kitchens! The saying goes- Abs are not acquired by tons of sit ups! They are already there, you just have to uncover them by eating clean!

2. Exercise

Simply put, when you move your body you are sending hormonal signals that boost your metabolism and turn on your fat burning engines. Both aerobic training and resistance training are huge players when it comes to getting daily movement.

3. Removing inflammatory Foods

Foods that cause inflammation like gluten and dairy will keep excess weight on you for sure. Sometimes it’s not even fat, sometimes it’s water weight weight from all the inflammation.

4. Sleep

MAny many studies have proven the correlation between sleep and blood sugar problems. Put it to you this way, the less quality of sleep- the poorer quality of fat burning you earn the next day.

5. Mitigating Stress

Stress actually raises hormones that block our potential to burn fat by raising our blood sugar. It’s called cortisol, and the higher your Cortisol the higher your inflammation and blood sugar are. 

There you go! these are the first 5 things I address as a coach when I start a new client. That away I know that they are putting themselves into a position where they can start burning some serious fat for fuel and drop that extra belly fat.
